Keep Calm And Go To Singapore
Singapore, what a city-states! One of my favorite place where I liked spending time was Marina Barrage. The view you get from this place is outstanding, especially during sunsets. You have a panoramic view of Marina Bay, Marina Garden with SuperGroove Trees and the Cloud Forest. And lastly, far away the financial district.
Generally, people tend to come to this place just to chill out. Childs play around with their kites.
One day, I spoke with a local about political pressure between Singapore and Malaysia. Roughly, Malaysia is putting a lot of pressure on Singapore as they are their first provider in almost everything as Singapore is a city-state and produce nothing. Just to give an idea of the superficie, Singapore is seven time Paris size which is in total around 700 km2. Their main dependence is water. Water is rather expensive in Singapore. The cheapest bottle of water is around 1$. Here in Paris you can get an equivalent bottle of water for less than 0.30$. Anyway, to reduce their dependency they developed many reservoir. The biggest one in Singapore is Marina Barrage.
